The Grand Luau at Honua’ula is pleased to offer the most unique and guest friendly table assignment system in Hawaii. Unlike most luaus that require you to stand in line until the doors open and then begin the check-in process, The Grand Luau allows you and your family the ability to be assigned to the best table in your respective seating category (standard or premium) at the time you check-in. Please take a minute to carefully review the table assignment below:
Standard and Premium Seating:
4:00 to 4:30- luau check-in desk opens for both standard and premium table assignments. If you are checked in prior to 4:30, you will be assigned the best table available at the time.
You will receive a seating card that includes your name and the table you are assigned to. Once you have received your table assignment, you are free to leave, tour the hotel, have a discounted drink (at select venues) or find some shade to wait for the luau doors to open.
4:30-5:00- guests that were not able to check in prior to 4:30 will wait in line to check in like any other luau in Hawaii. Once the doors are open and you are checked in, you will be escorted directly to your table.
Pre-Assigned Tables: If you were in line prior to 4:30 and received pre-assigned table seating, you can enter the luau grounds at 5:00. All you have to do is present your table assignment card to the seating staff and you will be escorted directly to your pre-assigned table (please note: only tables are pre-assigned, not seats).
Our luau staff makes every effort to get as many guests checked in, and tables pre-assigned, prior to 4:30 as possible. However, on busy nights, there are often far too many people in line to get them all pre-assigned tables before the cut-off time. So, you may show up at 4:00 and find a long line already waiting for table assignments.
